I did a search and could not find much info. I want to try Retumbo, since I shoot it in Norma, and have one less powder on shelf. I used 7828. Fed 215 and 250NAB.If I filled case all the way it had 95% capacity of 338 nm, in h20. Anyone shooting Retumbo?Staring point? 95% would give me 82 gr., that is based off Norma w/300 gr. bullet. Thanks

91 looks and no ideas? Interesting, I have some test load to try tommarow. I found loads for 300 wby.

I have a couple .338 Baer rifles (basically .340 IMP's)and they both like R-22, 7828, H-1000, and VV 165. 7828 and H-1000 typically shoots the best in both of them with 250's. I haven't shot Retumbo but if you have it I'd try H-1000 first.

Well I tried it and I and I dont think I could jam enough in. At 84 grs. and cruching it in I ONLY HAD 2500 velocity. Had a couple rnds w/ 7828 w/ 85 and was at 2790. My barrel is only 24.5 and braked to 26. I have some tests for up to 87.5, but it seems like I AM ALREADY fighting spring back in seating, maybe ssc will help.

i run 87 grs of 7828 in a 26 in barrel and get 2910with a 250nosler. but it takes a long drop tube to get it.
Please explain? I loaded some to the same and +.5, I throw them on my measure then hand weigh, then trickle down my funnel. I have them as far as mag lets me, but seems a liitle tricky getting them there
