I have some early 90s W-W Super 338 Win Mag brass (sold by 20 per box) that weighs on the average of 228 grains and some Winchester stamped brass that averages 232 grains. In the next year I'll be looking for some new brass and was curious as to what Nosler, Norma and other brands of brass in the same caliber weighed. I've been disappointed with Winchester brass quality over the last 10 years especially when compared to the brass I've bought from them in the 80s and 90s.

ya winchester is definitely on the low end of your options -- im not personally a huge fan of hornady ( 236 no primer once fire ) , but a huge step up from WW super, and should be easy to find/ available

federal FC is another lower end option IMO comes in at 245gr dirty deprimed

Thanks Dusty. I wouldn't even be asking if Peterson Brass made the cases, I'd already have them ordered. When Nosler first started selling brass I bought some in 338 Win Mag and they come in at an average of 208.5 grains, which seems pretty light to me, curious who made them for Nosler?
