.308 Norma question.

I know this may sound kina nutty but is the .308 Norma and the .308 Norma Mag the same?
I am getting confused I have been Googleing this about the brass and its getting me scratching my head.. from what is can see its the same.

You often hear the old 308 Norma Mag just called a 308 Norma now you have to watch out because Norma introduced the 300 Norma Mag which is a different creature No belt a shortened 338 Lapua case
