[QUOTE="buckturd, post: 229393, member: 12004"] Well I have been a troller for quite a while now so I figure I'll contribute something.I put this together for strictly nuking coyotes:) I built a .300 WSM on a Savage 12fvss. The barrel is a Pac-nor 30" stainless select, 1-15 twist, fluted, .800 at muzzle.Stockade Coyote Stalker stock.Warne rings and bases, and a Leupy 6.5x20x50LR. Load development was a pain to say the least I was having problems with high pressures with fairly mild loads until I changed from magnum primers to large rifle, pressures came way down with only a very mild loss in velocity (25 fps).accuracy wise it shoots fantastic .5 to .75 with 3 diffrent bullets and 5 diffrent powders and the largest groups were just over an inch, all testing was done at 100yds.And i will admit I,am nowhere nere a benchrest shooter. Powders I tried W760, H414,H4350, Viht 550 and Varget. Most accurate was H4350, Highest velocity with 110 v-max was with W760, and highest velocity with Nosler 125BT and 150 BT was Viht 550. Final outcome all are magazine length; 110 V-max, Norma brass, CCI LR200, 75.5grs W760 = 3975fps .75moa 125BT, Norma brass, CCI LR200, 71.5grs Viht550 =3900fps .5moa 150BT, Norma brass,CCI LR200,66.0grs Viht550 =3475fps .75moa These loads are Max in this Rifle if you want to experiment with yours please start 10% under and work up. Eventually I want to try some 155 Berger vlds but that will have to wait until after hunting season and i'am currently waiting on another barrel from Pac -nor for a 6.5-300 WSM that i am putting together on another 12fvss, Speaking of does anybody have any experience with this round?
