300 RUM with RL33 and RL26

So far my experience with 8133 (in a .338 RUM) has shown it to have basically the same velocity as RL25 with the same charges. Not exactly the .300 RUM, but close so your mileage may vary.
Lol ! Thanks! My experience with RL25 in the Rum was so so but was years ago. I still have some. Thinking of trying it in 300 win mag and 7 rem mag. Maybe 6.5 PRC ? H1000 has worked better in it than Retumbo so far. Maybe try 8133 ?

Does anybody have any starting load data for RL 33 in a 300 RUM ? Any favorite loads with any bullet ? Having a hard time finding . I haven't acquired any of the magic 26 dust yet but plan to try it also. Been using Retumbo for years. Be hard to beat. Have also used RL25 and H1000. Bought some IMR 4000 that havent tried yet. Not much data on it either. Thanks to all in advance. You guys are great and always are a great help .

I'll bring up same question with 300 win mag and 7 Rem mag load data later with same powders . Maybe 6.5 PRC.

Thanks!
Don
I've used Rel 22, 25 and H1000. My best results are with 93 hrs Rel 22 behind 180 Scirocco. MV is chronographed at 3380 fps. I backed of to 90 hrs for 190 Nosler Ablr and got 3145 fps. New to this forum but, like the articles I've been reading. Jay

I have not used the 33 yet. My 300 RUM shoots the 25 very well so stuck with it, and got a great deal on a big container! Of my two hunting partners, one is a Retumbo and the other a 25. In my Rem Sendero, the more powder I stuffed in it the more accurate it got. Like Draftmule said - different rifles do different things.

Different rifles . Who knows ? Haven't tried a lot of different bullets yet. Trying some 181 Hammers and 200 ELDX Fri..

WYO:
Let us know how you do with the Hammers? I just ordered some 181s, should be here next week.

So far, shooting the 168 & 175 Barnes, been best results with H1000. I was able to hit the 3500fps mark with the 168s and H100, Fed 215. The accuracy was so so, I have some loaded up that I expect will hit 3450, that is where the rifle likes so far.

93 gr, H1000 200 grain Eldx, shoots lights out of my rifle, 97 grains Rutumbo very accurate as well. For my Rums. Both are more temperature stable than RL25.

Will do. I shot some 181 Hammers 2 weeks ago. Was 94.0 and 95.0 grs. Of something... lol. I can't remember if it was Retumbo or 8133 or H1000. I'll check when I get home . I went with 180 Accubond data. 94.0 was very accurate 95.0 not as. No pressure at all at 95.0 grs.. I loaded some up to 98.0 grs. To try. Also Some with different powders.

It was Retumbo. I remember it was ave. 3174 fps. SD 12 ES 24. Not so good but was 1 in. Group in heavy head wind. Had to time shots between target moving back and forth. Hope no wind this Fri.. was hoping I'd get my 6.5 PRC barrel back before .
