Berg manual states 3035 so I think I'm on par for the rifle but would like some opinions. Also will the 215's be worth it to give me a much more volicity due to bearing surface of the bullets . Another thing is there seems to be no pressure issues yet. bolt lift is the same as the lighter loads and the primers all look the same. So I might be able to push a little more powder.
300 RUM and Retumbo, Yesterday I went to the range to do some load testing. I started at 89 and worked up to 92 grains of retumbo. OAL length is mag length something like 3.68 I think. But its mag length. The 92 grain load with a 210 VLD berg was shooting 3044, 3040, 3035. Standard Rem sendaro 26 inch barrel. So does this sound right for volicity or is it a bit slow. I seen other publish remarks of over 3100 to 3200.
