I have data for 165 gmx and the 165 gr Sierra SBT and both of them differ by 4 gr of powder. The GMX max is 55.4 gr of H4350 and the Sierra is 59 gr. That's a big difference. So I son't know which to use.

Does anyone have a Hornady reloading data book or software with the 165 SST?

Thanks,
Scott

Book lists the following

COAL 3.240 165 grain SST
MAX Loads
  • IMR 4350 57.0 grs (2900fps)
  • H4350 58.9 (2900 fps)
I have been using the 180's in my '06 and getting excellent results with 56 grs of IMR 4350 @ 3.245"

Been shooting the 165gr interbond with 57.5gr IMR 4350 win brass and CCI large rifle standard shoots 1" or less with most 06's.....

I agree with all previous posts about H4350 and I4350.
57-58grs of H4350 is tough to beat. I have an '06 i struggled with to get under 2". A buddy clued me in on 57.7grs of H4350. It was like magic right from the start and I was shooting under an inch consistently.

i use 59.5grns H4350 under 168s seated out, i believe hodgdon list a max of 60grns of H4350 under a 165 at like 60.1kpsi
