Working on getting a 28 Nosler put together. I have RL33, RL26, H1000, N570, 8133 and Retumbo on hand - is there any other I better have at hand to try? This would be with 180-195 gr bullets.

Looks like you are covered, in my 28, I found RL33 to be the most accurate but also the most dirtiest. If you want to save your throat, don't push to max and maybe stay with a cooler burning powder like H1K. Be careful with RL33 when the temps are above 85 same with RL26 and I have heard N570 is temp sensitive above 90.

Thanks all! Looking for accuracy first, speed second. If I can get a 180 at/above 3000fps and/or the 195 in the 2900 ballpark - whichever is most accurate will be its' diet.

I can't get enough 869 in the case at 3.600" with a 12" drop tube and vibrating the case to get pressure/speed consistent. 570 and RL33 seem to be the slowest I can use.

I tried RL 33, H1000, Retumbo and N570. I found tha N570 gave me the best speeds and also Retumbo and H1000 I found that after a 4 shot with each the barrel was hot. With N570 my barrel never got as hot.

Hmmm
I just picked up 570 and looking to get more when it comes in.

yeah I just picked up 2 more a couple months back of 869 (local) and checked back to see if they had anything different but they still had about four or five more cans of 869
