It's not plastic, it's brass, with steel head.
This is the all brass version of the 277 Fury.

Over 3k out of a 16 inch barrel with the 3 piece ammo is easily attainable.
steel case bottom will let you load to much higher pressures. Should allow for faster burning power and magnum speed out of shorter barrels
I wonder if the head is cup shaped and partially inside or outside the plastic?At high pressures, how do you not get gas leaks at the head/body junction?
