What exactly is wrong with a factory Tikka t3x bolt? This deal sounds like a $1500 gun that may or may not shoot as good as a bone stock Tikka.Bolts available from LRI. Big time upgrade.

Few considerations. I guess the same thing could be asked about 700 bolts. Yet there are many vendors making and selling upgraded replacements
1. The tikka bolt shroud is plastic. The LRI is machined. Most people end up replacing them. Which cost more money.
2. Tikka bolt handle is not threaded and replacement bolt handles are not cheap. The LRI comes standard with threaded bolt handle giving you a lot of options.
3. LRI is one of the best and I would put their work up against anyone's.
Honestly one could easily sell a factory tikka bolt and buy one of these and be close to breaking even.
