223 ai and 80gr bergers

I've been wanting to build a 223 ai for some time for coyote and occasionally deer and antelope hunting. What twist and barrel length would I need to stabilize them? Will something as short as 22" work? Also would like to feed it out of AI mags with a long throat, does anyone have information on OAL?

You haven't had much response to your question. What altitude and temperature will you be at?

If i'm not mistaken, 1:7 should get you covered, but don't hold me to that.

Here in missouri. About 600 ft elevation. And temp can be a range. I was thinking to be on the safe side a 1-7 twist would be the way to go.

1-8 should work fine on the 80gr VLD's

I'd go 1:7 incase you ever want to step up to the 90gr Bergers, you're covered.

The Berger calculator shows a minimum of 7.25" at 600' altitude and 0°.
