Where did you harvest this beauty, what caliber and distance. Where you Spot & Stock or stand hunting?
Love to see how you have him mounted!
How hard was it to catch him the week before the season opened and tie him to a tree for opening day?Bondurant wyoming found him a week before season opened he was in the same spot a week later 300 win 210 Berger's 280 yards
WOW! Living here in GA for the past 24 years and don't get me wrong we have some monster racks on management lands, but small bodies. I have hunted Western NY and NW PA. Had some nice deer there, but nothing like y'all out in the Western States. We had to go the Newfoundland and Africa for bigger game.Check out this buck my son shot archery sept 1 same area

Well to be honest, I wouldn't cry in my beer over that rack. I've shot some Bucks with nice racks, most notably a non typical 14 point but I am primarily a meat hunter. None, not even the 14 point would have made it into the record books. LOL...the 14 point did not even place in any of the Big Buck contests I've signed up for. We grow em BIG in Wisconsin. My largest deer of all time was from last fall. Weighed 201 pounds on the scale but was just an 8 point with an average rack, again nothing to brag about. That buck succumbed to a Sig Sauer 140 gr Sierra at 90 yards out of my Tikka T3X in .270. Keep on hunting, that 180+ Big Boy is out there coming into rifle range soon near you.I thought this buck was 180 didn't make it 178-3/8 little short maybe next year
