I got a 125 nos bt to go 3800 from a 26" 300 win mag. I shot a "rock rat" at 150 yds with it. Blood, guts and boogers flew into the air. Just a red smear where the rat was sitting. I never shot another animal as my son's friend just had to have that rifle.
I would think a 300 RUM would get a 125 close to 4000 fps.
