Thanks for all the info Mike. I got a friend with some IMR-4831 and hes gonna let me use a little bit of it, enough for a couple laods anyways, told him I'd give him some 75g vmax for his 257 WM, ha ha. I went to buy some Win primers at sportsmans warehouse yesterday and they were all out of win primers except shotgun crap. I was mad Well since your max was around 52.5g, and the books max around 53 or so, I dont think I'll much past 54 or 54.5g, that might even be pushing it. I dont care to much about speed, but I would like to keep 3300fps and sub MOA accuracy. I'll probly do a ladder from 51-54 or so, when I can get some win primers that is. Once again, thanks Mike. I worked up to 56-57g RL-22 and the 115g NBT in my old 25-06. According to my crony I was getting 3375-3400fps and 1" groups at 100 yards. I figured 1" was good enough with that velocity, definately max or over max. Crony could be off to though...Back in my day when I cared more about speed and less about accuracy. I am total opposite now, slinging heavy for caliber bullets and all, ha ha.
