Powder for 308 20"

After taking a break from reloading for 30 something years I'm about to work on a load for a 20" 11 twist 308 I'm shooting suppressed. I have both Varget and IMR4064 on hand. Would you favor one over the other to start with ?
Was going to start with 168 MatchKings and 168 Ballistic tips .

Varget, is the ticket in all my 308's shooting 168 and 175's

Both are great choices. Let the barrel tell you which one it prefers. My rifle liked IMR 4064 with the 168 grain AMAX.

43.5 grn of Varget and 168 SMK @ 600 yards. 20" Tikka CTR 1:11 twist.

I had great luck with RL15 and 168s and I got velocity way over the book without pressure signs.

A friend suggested RL 15 ,but I couldn't find it .

You have my favorite two powders for 22" 308win shooting 168gr pills. I stocked up on Varget and only have one pound of 4064 left. The 168 AMAX and Berger 168CH were the bullets my rifle liked the most.

Both work well, and while I lean toward Varget, work the loads and see what your rifle prefers.

Both Varget and IMR 4064 have worked well for me from 20" up to 26" with heavy bullets.
CFE 223 and H335 will make the lighter bullets sizzle.
