My long-term favorite is a Blaser K95 in 6.5x68R. Last one they made in that caliber. Basically a 6.5-06 or 6.5 PRC. Super accurate, lightweight, beautiful in looks and handling single shot.
Since 2003 that has been my all time favorite rifle in 50 years of hunting. Mine is a featherweight. When I would go back to PA. to hunt with the family, my brother would always lend me his savage 99 in .308. It was a joy to carry in the woods, and it was my brothers who is now deceased, man I miss that guy
I have the same, a beautiful rifle and a wonderful cartridge.I have an old Wby Mk V chambered in 30-06 with handloads for my favorite deer rifle.
