Coyote Hunting Predatorial Series #2 "Calls of the Wild" By Greg Ballard

Very good articles I am actually thinking about getting into coyote hunting myself. I didnt have the faintest idea of where to start and now I at least know what kind of call to get and your preditorial 3 (great name BTW) confermed my research on the .243 round but you mentioned looking up the...

    First Buck

ill get a pic up as soon as i figure out my darn camera lol the rifle was a .270 rem 700 straight out of the box with a leup 3-9x40 sitting on top. it was loaded with 58gr of my dads unlabeled gun powder(who knows what the old man puts in there) and pushing a 150gr Nosler ballistic tip at...

    Berger 180 gr VLD

well if its the batch thats the problem stop using that batch. switch to ur buddies 168s for now and order a different set of the 180s. and then with the new batch it will confirm ur thoughts that its just the batch. if its not then at least you have eliminated a possibility.

    Varmint hunting caliber

Im gonna hijack my own thread on this one. Ive been doing research and ive come up with 3 possible varmint calibers that i would like to hear everyones opinions on: 22-250, .223, and .243. I realise i could use the .243 on deer and antelope, but i already have a .270 that i use for that purpose...

    Varmint hunting caliber

Hey every one Im new to varmint hunting and im looking for a good caliber to get started with. I would like one with pretty good long range capability so as i start to reach farther the round will be more than capable of doing so. currently my max range is about 500yds but as i practice it gets...

    First Buck

I finally drew my first buck tag for antelope and i just filled it earlier today. Due to the time constraint of only having one day to hunt i could not be picky in the least but even under the circumstances i managed to bag a nice buck. It had 14 in horns and isnt a trophey by any means but...

    New guy question

A Minute of angle or MOA is 1/60th of 1 degree. XP3Hunter pretty much hit it right on the nose for how you use minutes of angle off hand at different distances but technically 1 MOA is 1.0471996 inches at 100 yds. as you can see out to say 300 even 500 yds it works just fine reffering to it as...
