The only problem with the CDS turrets is that once you have them set for temp, elevation, and everything else you have to get new turrets if you go somewhere that is hotter, colder, higher, lower etc.

YouTube is probably the best place for reloading videos. its a waste of money buying dvds online. most of the dvds say there for experienced reloaders or for long range shooting and there basically for new reloaders. I know you are a new loader but try youtube.

I don't check for run out so I won't talk about it but as far as using it with other calibers. I have the 308 comp die and I have used it for 30-06 and also I can use it for 300 win mag. Love the bullet window.

My personal opinion on "most but not all" rifle cartridges is it doesn't make a whole lot of difference out to 4-500yds speed vs BC. But the farther out you go, BC becomes king no matter what cartridge. +1 ENOUGH SAID!
