I have an old turkish mauser sitting around would like to have re barreled to 6.5x284 does anyone know will this action handle the pressures ? I recently lost my job so buying an action is out but my wife gave me the go ahead to re barrel and get a timney and boyds stock any suggestions ?

just bought a model 7 in 300suam plan to handload anyone have any experience loading for this caliber and anyone know how it performs on game out to 600yds mainly deer and black bear.Any help will be appreciated.
