300wm load data

I could not get H1000 to shoot well in mine with the 180 ttsx, but I have had great results (1/2"@100) with 74 grains of H4831SC. I load to 3.500" and they feed out of the magazine on my Savage with a Sinarms barrel.

I suggest Imr 4350 or H4831sc but in win, rem, or norma brass 74 grns is on the low side for me with 4831 but start low and find your max.

Not 180 barnes ttsx.... But 175 gr berger RL 17 fed 215 started load 68 grs 3022 fps and max load of 73.5 grs...max load of 73.5 gr chronographed, AV 3269 fps ES 9 27.5' barrel..... 70.5 grs gave me an AV 3101 ES 19

TRG300WM, I bet if you switch out your primers for Fed210M's or CCI BR2's you cut your ES's in half even though they are not bad now.

To be honnest iv never tryed the 210s or br2s in any 300 wm load. The FED 215s are GMM.. i just prefur the hotter primer with that amount of powder... I normaly save the br2 and 210s for cases like the 308w or swift.

Surprisingly they work great with powders as cold as Retumbo up to about 85grns unless its way below freezing, RE17 is a pretty warm powder, close to 4350. I do typically use 215M's with H1000, 7828, or Retumbo, just for the slight boost in velocity.

My win mag likes H-4350, at book max with 180 gr. bullets. The Nosler PT has been my favorite for 50 years for one reason they work. !!

I am using Br2 with excellent results in my WM SD is 11 fps, ES of 27. Now thats not spectacular but consider this is mixed brands of brass and I weight to +/- .2GR and do not weight sort my bullets either. This is also at 28 degrees. 79gr of h1000 behind 208 Amax =2932 with no pressure signs and primer that almost look brand new.
