Incidentally the gunsmith I usually use (and trust) immediately suggested 300H&H for my purposes. Easy to load, long brass life (Nosler Custom brass), low preceived recoil, 2900 - 3000fps easily with 168 - 180grainers....and very accurate. Just a thought....although bc not as good for the .30...
