I was wondering that ,in that case i think i will just stick with the 6 ppc and go for something a good bit bigger then . Probably get a new 308 or something round there.

what do you guys think of this calibre for long range hunting and varmints.Have shot 6mmppc on small deer out to 450 yards but want a little more punch for stuff further out. How far do you rekon this round would be effective to on small deer species say weighing 50 pounds. I love the ease...

The rifle is a cooper mod 21 in 6mmppc .I will get in contact with cci to see wot they have to say. In the past though i have shot thousands of their primers without any problems. The primeres were stored in a dry ccabinet inside my house their is no way any moisture could get to them...

Just had 2 missfires out of 20 with small cci primers .There is a very good firing pin strike on them bothe so i dont think it is my firing pin.Has anyone got any suggstion.thanks.

You are right that is not a big game bullet but i have had huge success with it with carefull shot placement. I also forgot to mention these are roe deer with the largest of them weighing only 50 pounds.

well got my nxs 5 to 22 a week ago today.Have shot six does with it so far am very impressed definately the best scope i have used. Shot 3 tonight the first at 350 then 375 and the last at 194. Shot the last one just before dark wot an idiotic moment i had though she was only 194 perfect...

Just order one after reading all the positive posts on here am sure it will not dissapoint thanks for the advice.
