I've got a couple of H&R's that are mighty fine shooters and I've stretched them out to 300 yds on occasion.. Has anyone shot any farther with these rifles ?? Just curious...

Are you trimming your brass to min case length or the max length, or just just trimming when they reach max case length and sorting by lots ??

Do you still happen to have an occasional split case from time to time even with moderate, and low end loads ??

AFter this first time attempt at annealing for my hornet brass, I'm sorely tempted to just buy new brass.. With a known good load, and using this annealed brass, my accuracy went through the floor.. There was no real groups to be considered.. My groups wih this load before annealing was around...

Well I just tried annealing my first batch of brass, for my 22 hornet.. It was a little bit hit and miss, with the walls being so thin.. I basically went with letting them blue once I got the distance right, but a few went to red in color around the mouth of the case.. We'll see what happens...

I understand the whole annealing process.. My question is, when do you anneal your brass in your reloading process ?? Is it after you've used the brass a few times and you just go about doing it, or do you set it up as part of your process during reloading.. If so when, or where in the...

I get over to Dillsburg from time to time, to go fishing over at Lake Pinchot.. I'm in the Carlisle area.. Sounds like it'd be fun to try :D.. I'll have dig out my BR and do some practicing now for sure..:D I've been mainly shooting with my bi-pods as I've been working up some loads for my 22...

Lucky guy !! Have never tried my hand at ground hog hunting.. May have to talk to some buds of mine about it.. Right now I'm just looking to learn more about long range shooting, and finding some place longer than 300 yds.. Best of luck to you on your ground hog hunt.. :)
