We have not as of now, made a left hand M8000. That's not saying that we won't. We need to have enough demand for a run of recievers, bolts, and handles. Get 25 or 30 signed up and we will run them off.
Scott
Kirby,
Great to here you liked the actions. We are anctious for you to get your rifle together. Barney would like you to give him a call at 406-683-2388.
Thanks.
Scott
BH,
If you want to send it back, I'll lap it in for you. That sn is before we started lapping in the bolts. Now all complete recievers are lapped.
Scott
Kirby,
You will need to cut at least 1 inch off the muzzle, that's normal. If you want it to finnish at 30", you can cut more from the muzzle or the chamber end. You will want to pay attention to the flutes so you don't run out of room for a brake if you want one. Also, there isn't a blamed...
Hey Kirby,
Can you post this on a couple other sites?
I didn't want them to send you that ugly barrel but they got it out before I could get it hid.
I'm glad you like the 7000s. I'll get the 7500 done real soon now.
Scott
Thanks Dave, but it was mostly great equipment and coaching. I think that I'm hooked on this long range shooting now. Back in Oshkosh, NE we use to shoot at a 500 yard gong just to see if we could hit it. Now I'll want to shoot the chain it's hanging from. ha ha ha
Hay! I just want to say...
Lerch and all,
The web site is www.lawtonriflebarrels.com . The pictures are not the best but we're working on that. Don't get scared by Barney and my mugs in the gallery section.
You might want to look for an article in PS mag by Stanton Wormley also. Hopefully we will get to use his pics on...
We will conture flute and lap it Monday,(not that it needs lapped because that barrel is slick). I'm starting on the other 7000 right now. You'll have them soon.
Scott
Kirby,
Barney cut a 270 barrel for you last night, and it's a bute. We will conture and lap it Monday.
I have a 7000L R Mag sitting here to ship, and another started in the box. The 7500 is in the works also.
Thanks for the support and good shooting.
Scott
