had to go back to my reloading book and using cfe 223 the load was 63 grains not not 66 book was 64.1 i did not see any pressure sign. best group was 63 so thats where i stopped. not shure how i screwed that up?

most reloaders on this sight have better speed readers than jack had even in the speer test lab that he used. the 280 was down loaded for the Remington pumps and autos of the time. and who would have thought that you could load the 35 whelen with 8208 to over 2800 fps with a 250 grain speer...

was it my gun I would not let any body shoot it before a new barrel is put on it. with that many holes that close together I would think that it would have a good chance of giving up in that location. some of the gunsmiths will be on soon the can tell you more.

there are people on here that have reloaded longer the I have. the seven rem mag and the 300winchester mag the neck will grow around 7 to 10 thousand on the first firing on factory ammo. I use the rcbs puller with collets. I also have the hammer to but use it for pistol bullets only. also if you have a high primer with the hammer hang on and wear ear protection

the 1908 dwm mauser in 7x57 rear sight 1 is 100meters 20 is 2000 meters. I can not see any thing to shoot at that distance. without a good scope that is.
