I've been one who's killed a 6x6 in a opportunity unit the last 3 times I've hunted. I have friends that want me to take them for elk. My advice to them is pretty blunt. They have little to no chance at being in the 10% that kill elk in these units without taking cardio and leg training...

Not huge but for a 0-1 point unit on public land it is a keeper. Normal areas I hunt more crowded than usual.

What do you all prefer in a reticle style or type? There is a lot of them out there, for instance NF and Meopta have enough to make your head hurt. What do you want on your gun?

And even some state lands it is confusing what it is allowed. Some of the rules are tough to figure out as finding them is a challenge on it's own

Nothing will trump Objective size for light gathering no matter what brand you are looking at. Exit pupil is real math and is the number one thing to look at, and then the coatings, glass quality and design after that.

I hunted 67 twice. Took a 16" 82 inch buck. Lot's of bucks. See if that is drawable

Well, if they cut tags and also raise the prices of the special draw the regular draw odds are going to tank.... points will be devalued because most guys won't put in for the 1200$ tags. A win win for outfitters who want their clients better odds.
