For those who use the DNZ mounts, what do u torque the base and rings to? The package just says 25lbs but doesnt say if thAts for base or rings or both...on their site they say up to 30 on the ring screws but nothing on the base. This is my first time mounting a scope myself and i just wanna be...

Ive been shooting the 140gr BTSP interlock in my .270. Noticed that hornady is now offering the flatbase version in the american whitetail lineup in 140gr. Question is will the flatbase bullet shoot same Point of impact as the boattail?

Is it true barrel life is much less with the 6.5?

After handling one of the new Bergara B14 Hunter rifles i must have one. Was pretty much decided on a 308 but after researching the 6.5 creedmoor im considering it also. Anyone use the 6.5 on deer? Is the 308 more versatile? I notice theres not much factory ammo for the 6.5creed out there
