This rifle is extremely accurate. At 200 yds I can shoot a 5 shot group as tight as a dime. As for the brass, I start with a 300 win mag casing and step in down twice with the neck dies. They come with the rifle. I am shooting 86 grains of ram shot magnum. I have had the best luck with the Barnes LRX 130's. iI's a little heavy and long but has no recoil. I let my kids shoot it and they don't mind it. It is a great gun but want to experiment with some more wild cats.
