The .300 Ackley Improved is based on a .300 Weatherby round, very little changed from the original, cartridge oal is the same, the neck angle is slightly changed, the rifle will fire either round accurately. I can send you pics Thursday, my grand daughter has my digital camera.

Hello, wondering about your rifle and the cartridge. Can you send me a pic of the cartridge, and it's specs. Looking for a cross canyon rifle, and not familiar with the round.
