My blinking is happening after the trigger break, essentialy during the blast sequence. SO far i cant get it to group under 3" at 365yards... Tho i wounder if that is good or not.

Were shooting a barret 95. Its his gun, but i help with load development. This load has a low velocity spread and hits with 11k worth of muzzle energy. It currently has the standard bipod, no rear mono pod and a shooting bag up front. Scope is Leopold Vx-II with the varmit recticle.

Well i have a offer on a older and very used Remmington m700 bdl in 7mm rem mag. It has over 5k rounds through the barrel tho, and remmingtons arnt as easy to rebarrel as savages. Tho the price is nice for it, i essentialy be buying it for the action.

I was at the hogdon data center for reloading and it seems that the 22-250 looses alot of energy at extended ranges. I know its perfect for upto 500yards on yotes, but what about 600yard plinking and small game, is it enough to do the job?
