    Mike,

    I have been looking at Red Hawk today and trying to determine the best reticle . the non-illum ZMOA is about $200 cheaper than the illum...That being said the others also say ballistic/wind turret. while the cheaper of the reticles says only ballistic turret. which reticle are you shooting?

    I have all non-illuminated reticles and I just went with the plain old reticle in each of them (#20 and #6). I always get the ballistic elevation turrets and then have a custom turret cut by Kenton Industries. The ZMOA reticle isn't too bad and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it. I always stay away from their busy reticles; too much going on in the scope and on the target for my taste.

    With the plain reticle, do you think I'd have any trouble just holding wind?

    I've never had a problem, but my farthest kill is only 620 yards in light to moderate winds. If you're going to be hunting in higher gusts, the ZMOA would definitely be a step up from the plain reticle.
