ill put my vote in with the zeiss conquest hd5 3-15x42 weighs 18 ounces, is any where from 900-1200 bucks and the glass is far superior to leupold and they have very easy to use ballistic reticles for hunting. the new hd5s have the same glass coatings as the zeiss victory lineup which are worth...
with medium grit sandpaper cerakote will come right out so i imagine bullets and brushes will do the same eventually
cerakote is a great product though
Im a Weatherby fan so for 1000 bucks i would go with a weatherby Vanguard s2 RC
Love Vanguards my new s2 backcountry in 270win shoots sub half minute all day and 4 inch groups at 600 yrds. my old s1 still shoots .75 - 1.00 minute any day
so maybe give weatherby a try i guarantee you won...
I need some help i cant decide weather to use the 130 gr bergers which shoot sub half minute and i have been shooting the 130s all summer. or switch to 150gr bergers for elk.
is the 130 gr going to be enough for elk at 300-400 yrds and closer. or is it wiser to switch to 150s with only two...
I have a Zeiss conquest hd5 3-15x42 with the rapid z 800 reticle for sale for $900 obo. i put it on my 270 win not knowing that it was for flatter shooting magnums. love the quality, glass is very clear as expected with a zeiss. has same lotutec coating as the victory line of zeiss scopes great...
just looking to see if any one has any experience with them. and if the turrets track well and if they are a good medium - long rang scope. i already have the same scope with the rapid z 800 and i dont like ballistic reticles,
thanks
i am looking for advice a scope to scope to put on my rifle it is a 300 wby acumark
i am a mid to long range hunter (300-800) yrds
i am also considering an vortex viper hst 4-16 x 44 or a zeiss conquest hd5 3-15 x 50 with the rapid z 800.
thanks
yes if you want to spend the 2200-2500 bucks. they are some of the toughest scopes on the market
definitly worth it if you hunt alot and are rough on your equipment
I am Canadian also and I hate the gun laws here. I hate how you cant hunt with ar style platforms. and never mind ars you cant even hunt coyotes with over a 5 round semi. look at Arizona's gun laws or Alaska or Vermont. they laugh at canadians
