Well I talked to Elk County Outfitters this afternoon. Very nice guy looking forward to speaking with him again tonight. Now the big question is which rifle is getting called up to the big leagues. Unfortunately I don't have anything ready to hunt that is Elk legal. Probably just take my 700 SPS...

I am not sure how I feel about that fit yet. Knee jerk reaction with a 26" Sendero and a Holland brake I think it might look kind of odd.

No it doesn't. I am still not sure what I an going to do. I will be running a fluted barrel I wonder if that is what helps that Sendero in the above picture. I really like the round foreend of the game scout over the square a3.

What manufacturer's #4 is that?

I thought I listed the manufacturer I plan on using but I was thinking faster then I can type. I plan on using a Bartlein #13.

Yeah I think that stock will be OK with the 3B I'm going to use for another LA build, but this one is going to need something different.

Good Evening, I am going to be Putting a 300 Ackley build together and I'm thinking about using a McMillan game scout. Does anyone have pictures of a Sendero contour in a game scout? Thanks.

Nathan builds awesome rifles. We oogled over them and talked with him for a while at the Harrisburg outdoor show. He had a customers 280AI I absolutely fell in love with. Just can't afford one like that yet.
