One shot one kill for sure but I would love my boy to be able to use one. Low recoil and a stock that is adjustable enough to fit him. No rifle stock fits my kids because of the long length of pull even on the compact youth models. My kids are small and the ar platform works for them.

I have had nothing but troubles with mine too. Pro will never buy another. Ive had cheap Bushnells perform better and where are clearer.

I like mine shoots great. I use 180 Berger over 72 h1000 215m. 3050 out of 28 inch barrel. Verified to 675 yards. Never tried any other load as I believe this was gunwerks load and my gunsmiths.

Would you work on a Mauser. Rebarrel and build a stock change safety to a Winchester style

Yea they seem to have a good supply. I'm local. They have the new hornady eld and eldx last time I was in. Powder supply good too.

I use 215m and wlrm primers in mine. Good results if you end up trying other primers. Also h1000. But I like retumbo in mine. Rl 22 and 25 did good also but seemed temp swings thru off Es and Sd.

I have an xbolt white gold medallion and an a bolt. I probably wouldn't ever buy another one new. Not worth price in my opinion.

Could u buy a 270 short mag and have the factory barrel setback and rechambered to a 270 ss mag?

And my 7mm mag shoots 140s at 3000fps. Stw 168s 2900ish and lrm 180s at 2980. I could pro get more out of the stw though.

I own a mag lrm and a stw. The lrm seems to be on top for speed. I read somewhere I think that the lrm is between the mag and stw. But not according to my chrono I could ck my data to be sure but I think I'm pushing the 180 in the lrm the same as my stw pushes 168s.

Maybe this has been answered but how does the 270 ss compare with the wsm or other 270 cartridges or is the benefit more in barrel life. I am very intrested in the Sherman shorts and would like info to pick one for my next build.
