Redding Type "S" dies, are they worth the extra money?

Thx Bart. I have the Redding FL resize, and the Forster micrometer seater sitting in my cart at Brownell's now..... I'll be getting the KM neck expander when I get my turning stuff. I added the carbide balls for the FL's too, to see how they work. -J.

Redding Type "S" dies, are they worth the extra money?

Nevermind - I built up my nerve and dismantled my FL sizing die. I guess I was just being lazy.... To answer my own question - the expander can't be removed per se, but rather replaced with a collet that still holds the decapping pin, but doesn't expand the neck. -J.

Redding Type "S" dies, are they worth the extra money?

Hi Guys, I currently have a Redding Type S Match FL set for my 6.5 Lapua. I'm pretty happy with it, but I'm pretty new. I don't neck turn, anneal, etc, yet. I'm shopping for a set of dies for my .338LM, and after some reading in the last 24 hours I'm more confused than ever. From what I've...

    Hello from Southern Sask

    Savage 110FCP HS .338LM Mods

Hi All, I'm in the midst of setting up my first loooooong range gun. I opted for an FCP, as the next best option, IMO, was 3-4x the cost. I've done a few customization things to it that I wanted to share. The gun comes out of the box at 10.7lbs. That scared me. So, off to the web I went...

My setup experience with my Pentax 100ED

So, I'm the proud new owner of a Pentax 100ED scope. It's a different beast than most, so I thought I'd share what I've learned. This info did not come easy, trust me.... The 100ED is in between a spotting scope and an astronomical telescope in power, size, and weight. With this, comes...

    Hello from Southern Sask

Hi Everyone, I've been learning lots from you all for over a year now. I kinda like hunting, but LOVE shooting. I grew up a farm kid, the son of a Game Warden, so outdoors are pretty standard for me. Live on an acreage now with a trap setup, a 100yd bench out back of my garage, and a 500yd...
