Thanks for all the insight on these. I just use the 308 to hunt with and try not to use it for anything over 300 yards. I have other options for longer range. The 308 weight 7.5 pounds fully loaded. My long range gun isn't bad at 10.5 fully loaded.
If you can't find anything I have 3 boxes of Hornady I can let go of for what I paid for them. I got them just in case I couldn't find the bullets I use to reload with. Found the bullets so I don't need the Hornady anymore.
I didn't know if anyone had any firsthand experience with them. Like when Hornady came out with the eldx. Some people like the way they perform others don't. They are definitely very accurate but I wouldn't use them on anything bigger than a deer. When I got mine there wasn't any information out...
As one would have it my 308 brass has seen better days. I got all of it from shooting about every factory brand known to man. It's the first caliber I started reloading 6 years ago before I really got serious about keeping track of everything.
On to my question. I have never used sig brass...
