It was a very wet hunt!!! Finally started to see deer move Friday. There for awhile we were seeing more elk than deer. Still washing mud out of the wheelers!

There are plenty of elk in 61, especially cows. There wasn't many tags given for the season if i remember right, so you probably won't bump into many hunters. If you do a little walking and tracking in the snow you shouldn't have any issues. That whole unit is prime country so just pick a...
