Are Sellier & Bellot primers any good.

Perhaps even better than nothing. http://www.targetshooter.co.uk/?p=1471

REQUEST--pls include your state symbol in your thread header for primers or powder...

Except for Rhode Island. If that's where you are, just the state alone is fine. No need to add city.

    Blue Collar Reloading

100% good to go! The website is a bit wonky and it's hard to find things sometimes but if it says 17 In Stock, they have 17. Put 10 in your cart and checkout, In Stock now shows 7. There are some major online retailers that can't seem to get that down. Plus, for a small shop, their pricing is...

    Seating Die: This Happened

Your die is not properly adjusted. It is trying to crimp the neck and seat the bullet deeper at the same time. Something has to give and that something is the neck. For most rifles, especially bolt action, crimping is not needed. Some people want a taper crimp in autoloaders to prevent the...

300 grain ATIPS in .338 Lapua

I tried them in my RPR with H1000 and the best groups were in the 7's. My load with 285 grain ELD-Ms pretty well stays in the 5's. I chose to maintain magazine length so they might have been awesome single feeding closer to the lands. Magazine length puts me at around 0.140" jump. The 285...

    CE ProChrono DLX Reviews?

Their claims of a faster internal shot clock might be an improvement over the previous model. I used my older model ProChrono Digital for load development. I was measuring between 2,400 & 2,900 fps. All measurements were in increments of approximately 5 fps with no values in between, leading me...

Probably know the answer that I just don't want to hear....

Unloading ammo that way is always preferable to a kinetic puller.

Newbie, in experience - not age, from Upstate SC

You're just down the road. I've been reloading for many years. You're welcome to pick my brain. I certainly don't use it much.

    Hello from Upstate SC

Welcome neighbor from Pickens County SC. I've never seen hogs here yet but I've seen the damage they can do. An acre of lawn torn up overnight. A neighborhood dog disembowelled. Night hunting hogs sounds like fun!

    Trade for RL26

Thanks, but no rush though. Good luck finding your powder.

    Trade for RL26

I don't have RL26 but I'd be interested in any H1000 or IMR-4895 if you'd be willing to part with it. I'm not too far from Clemson.

Probably know the answer that I just don't want to hear....

I have a 2003 Accurate manual that lists 19.5 as maximum charge with NOS 55 SBT, so you aren't too hot. The powder can be used but you won't find it in manuals because it isn't an ideal burn rate. I'd go ahead and shoot them.

Want to trade: CCI 400 Small rifle primers (1k brick, 910 left) for large rifle magnum primers (South Carolina)

I don't know if this will help you out or not. I'll put this in the forum thread instead of a PM so anyone with first hand knowledge can hopefully weigh in and offer their experience. I have almost 1,000 Winchester LRP, 987 exact count. Three of the flats say for standard or magnum rifle loads...

A Real Head Scratcher-30-06 Headspace Issue

You don't say how many firings the cases have, nor the bullet weight which would tell us whether your 49.0 grain load is toward the top end or bottom end of the charge weight range. Also, while I'm not familiar with the Wilson tool, the Hornady tool is a comparator, not a true gauge. It is used...
