so if i were to shoot a 300 WM and zero it at 100 yards it would not cross the line of sight again at further distances?

does the bullet cross the scope path twice or just ounce. i hear that people will sight their guns in at 100 yards and be dead nuts at 300 or 325. any thoughts?

I have been looking pretty hard at rifles in 300 WM and i have decided that it has to have a muzzle brake for sure. I like the savage prices but not sure on their quality. Just not sure on which brand can shoot tighter goups. Any advise would be greatly appriciated.

I was acctually looking at the bear hunter as well and think it looks great. Have you ever shot any longer distances like 200-300 yards? Let me know if you ever get it to group tight or not.

Ya thats sounds pretty reasonable. i actually won a savage axis in 270 and was thinkin about trading it in because the trigger pull is rediculous and i want to have a muzzle brake and accu trigger which the axis doesnt have. Have you had any problems with your axis?

Muzzle brakes are a must for big caliber rifles. Having less recoil will equal tighter groups. They make a 300WM feel like a 243. Although they are really loud ear plugs are cheap. But if you have one installed after market be careful on who you take it too because they can though off...

i would really consider putting a break on it if your having trouble with it kickin. the break will make it feel like a 243.

yea it looks pretty good. ive been looking at savages a lot and their rather cheap compared to other brands i just dont know if the gun is cheaply made as well.

i have decided to buy 300 win mag and am trying to find a good rifle with a muzzle brake and acu trigger. but i dont want to break the bank either. any suggestions?
