I placed an order at Powder Valley about two weeks ago and got an auto response/basic invoice of my order. The day I ordered, the header on their website said the date expected to ship if ordered today was March 8. That was yesterday so we will see how accurate their ticker is. haha...

I honestly don't know what the cause for it being refurbished. I bought it as a refurbished unit that still carries the same warranty as a new product. I did indicate that I bought it as refurbished scope in the description/original post. I'm not trying to "pull the wool over anyone's eyes."...

I bought this a few years back for my .300WSM and have since sold the rifle. It didn't get much use while on that weapon so it still looks new. I'm going a different direction for my .308 and want something in the first focal plane. It's a nice scope but would rather just put the money...

I know the deer you mean. Though, I always used my .270win down near Carrizo Springs, I have a .300 WSM. It's a great, flat shooting rifle with similar ballistics as a 300win mag in a compact little platform. It shoots Black Hills 175 SMK's really well and put an easy one hitter quitter...
