    SOLD/EXPIRED Winchester Model 70 223 WSSM

ISO of a Winchester Model 70 223 wssm. Heavy barrel preferred. I know this isn't a big bore you're used to me talking highly about, but my Texas property needs some varmint control. 😁 Willing to pay (not over pay) for the right gun. Also have handmade high end rifle stocks and template stocks...

    Pigs in Texas

They usually come and go on my property. Due to all the rain we’ve had the past few months, they have been here quite a bit rooting around. I hope to keep the sounders around for a bit. My daughter is graduating in a month and our families are coming. Hoping there will be a target rich...

    Back at it…

The hardest part for me is handing them off after I’m finished. I spend countless hours (at times months) filing, shaping, sanding etc. Seeing the vision you have come together. Each blank has its own character. Sometimes it takes a while before you can see the blanks potential.

    Weatherby Fans & why?

All my builds are on Mark V 9 lugs. Most of the builds have detailed threads on this site. Arguably the strongest factory actions made. At one time, they were tested to 250,000 psi. Now days I believe they are only tested to 90,000 psi. Nonetheless, they are strong, smooth, and and a joy to...

    Scope Rings with Integrated Level

Wow! When I started this thread I had no idea it would bring such fruitful discussion. I am beyond pleased and appreciative. I am truly shocked on how many different options there are. Early on I found what worked for me and never strayed. Every single rifle I have has the same rings, rail...

    Scope Rings with Integrated Level

Excellent discussion going on here. I really enjoy reading about the options, techniques, and real word experience from everyone. Thank you to all who have posted thus far. Jayson

    Scope Rings with Integrated Level

This is exactly what I was looking for!! I really want to try something integrated. My worry is that I won’t be able to see the level. They seem small. The OM level looks blue. There are certainly style points for that. However, when you’re paying $200+ for a set rings, you want them to work😂...

    Scope Rings with Integrated Level

I like the looks of those UM rings! Especially with the level being on the bottom.

    Scope Rings with Integrated Level

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love my set up. It works incredibly well for me. I’m wondering if there are any of you that have experience with anti-cant levels that are integrated into the ring. Rob257, I designed and built my children rifles that bear their names (all featured on LRH)...

Sorry to hear about your eye issues. I’m sure that can be extremely difficult at times.

    Scope Rings with Integrated Level

This is a similar set up that I have. Works awesome. Weight for me is a nonissue. Many of my rifles are around the 12-15 pound range. ….and yes, I carry them everywhere I go. Even in the mountains 😂
