    New prices, I will split the package up as follows: Rifle with rings, bases, and Jewell trigger - $650. I paid $650 for just the rifle, not counting the trigger or rings/bases. Scope with sunshade - $450. I paid $510 for the scope minus sunshade. $1100 for the entire package.

    Predators?????????

    Ive never had any issues with bears and nobody I know personally has had any either. I could be very wrong but I feel like my odds of getting struck by lightning in the high country are shorter than my odds of getting attacked by a bear. Obviously if I lived in true bear country Id be concerned.

    Vortex Spotting Scopes

    Im in the market for a new spotting scope, but cant afford the $2000+ Zeiss or Swarovski scopes. The Vortex scopes are reasonably priced and Ive read a couple of good reviews, but Im wondering if anyone here has used the 80mm Skyline series? Obviously they wouldnt be on par with the highest end...
