    .338 options on new build??

    Trying to steer clear of a round that is "Improved"... I am not a guy that has lots of time to burn so I'd like to keep my reloading as simple as possible and of course inexpensive as possible... Thank You for the input!!

    Please tell me more about the Norma... I have never chatted with someone that had one... I have narrowed it down to Lapua or Norma.... but I have read that Norma will push a 300 gr bullet slightly better than a Lapua? Splitting hairs I know... but curious... and how do the bullets you use...

    Berger Bullets vs TSX bullets

    +1 for Berger VLD's I have always shot Factory Barnes X 180 gr. out of one of my 300 Wby Mags. They have always been a sub-MOA load right out of the box... for me. the Barnes X is a Great Coues Deer bullet IMO... wasting very little meat even if hit more than once.     Berger VLD load for 300 RUM

    ts, I am loading 82 gr. IMR 7828 with the 168 VLD out of my 300 weatherby mag. and am geting a tad better than 3250 fps at the muzzle. And I can tell you that it is plenty of speed and bullet on elk... so far.:D CnS
