    Need help with an optic for cz527 7.62x39

    I have the Athlon Helos Gen 2 2-12x42 scopes on five of my hunting bolt actions. I am sold on this scope as a reasonable weight FFP scope for general hunting purposes. I just picked up a Howa Mini in 7.62x39 and am seriously considering ordering another one for it.

    I suppress two 5.56 SBRs with 11.5" Gunner profile barrels. I haven't noticed any significant POI shift, but I also don't mag dump these rifles or shoot them for groups.

    First time shooting my new CZ 17 Hmr

    Which model 457 did you get? I was happy with my two Varmint models but I ended up swapping out my barrels for an IBI in 22lr and a Lothar Walther in 17 HMR. I ended up wanting threaded barrels and at the time CZ didn't have any available.
