22-250, 6 Creedmoor and 7 or 30 PRC

My experience has been different. POI changes a little but groups have usually been as good or better suppressed.

If you want a shooting tripod, I like the Spartan system. If you want the most steady standing shot check out the Viper-flex shooting sticks. You can get them from Hollands in Oregon. They’re Danish. Get the accessory leg and it’s almost as steady as shooting bench rest.

I’d vote for a 22-250 as well. Great gun, been around for a long time so not likely to come and go. If you want to go long range, would step up to a 6 Creedmoor.

I like the Spartan bipod and tripod systems. Nice to be able to attach an detach easily and switch to different guns in seconds.

I like my 6.5-284 as well but don’t have experience with the others. I also recommend the Lapua brass.

Second the recommendation for a threaded barrel. Almost all my guns now have thunderbeast brakes and I screw on a suppressor. Highly recommend it.

I have a 300 RUM and like it. But would also recommend a 28 or 30 Nosler, 300 winmag or 30PRC. 338 RUM would also be great.
