If you dont mind the extra money a fluted medium palma would be just about perfect. If not I would go with the light Palma but being a 7wsm you will get beat up shooting matches with it for sure. Not sure what you overall lenghth will be but you could always call the manufacturer of the barrel...

I just finished a bear hunt in Arizona with an outfitter that I wont mention. The guides worked hard but the outfitter seemed more interested in scouting other game than finding bears. Who is a good bear outfitter?

I have to go with a 6.5-284 or the 25-06, depending on personal preference. The 6.5 will shoot heavier bullets with a higher B.C. Berger does now make a high B.C. 25 caliber bullet and you can buy a 25-06 right of the shelf if thats important.

I dont think inside neck turning is a good idea, unless you have fire formed cases to an improved version and feel like you have donuts formed at the neck shoulder junction. As far as a snugg fit on the bolt for headspacing I think alot of ppl do that but it may be a little tight for varmint or...

I dont think the difference of 12fps would matter at all. I also havent had any problems with the screens stroking out per se, but I havent had this chrono very long. If it does I think switching to the infra red screens would be the best option and probably worth doing anyway.gun)
