I have ran my load up to 41gr of H4350, and I am starting to get flat primers, would this be the point to stop? I have no extractor marks on my case or other signs of pressure.
I am shooting a Browning Abolt,it shoots 1/4 MOA at 100 with this load.
I have seen a few people loading 41.5 gr of H4350, if you look at Hornady's reloading manual it's over the max load for 140 gr A-Max. Where did you get your load data.
I have a Vortex Viper 1x4 on a .300 AAC Blackout, it seems that the vertical adjustment is not even close. Has any one else had this issue, if so how can you test this without going through allot of ammo.
I think I would quit shooting at a elk after the second shot, i wouldn't want to take the elk in town with 9 bullet holes in it. Better hit the range more, or just stay in Ohio.
Thanks for the heads up I check out that JBM Website and ran the numbers about any way you could and every thing comes out around 1.5. I am going to give them a shot.
Thats why I love these forums a guy can go from not knowing much about ballistics to pretty solid in a shot time with some...
I am from Wyoming and I don't know exactly how the out of state draw is run, but as far as sear numbers and size. You can't beat Cambell County, or Gillette, Wyoming. I work out in the oil and gas field and I spend 10 hours aday running around all over North East Wyoming. This year was one of...
I have a 6x.284 winchester, 26" barrel 1 in 8" twist. I have been shooting Berger 105 Match Grade VLDS with great grouping.
But I would like to try the Berger 6mm 115gr Match VLD bullets for a BC near .600. I was told that the 115gr bullets wouldn't stablize in my gun. The 105's are running...

I bought this new a couple months ago and took it to the field for a couple days on a antelope hunt. I am selling to get more money for a project rifle. It looks as good as the day I bought it. I paid $1050.00 for it I have not sent in the warranty...
I am looking into building a .338 Norma Magnum, so I have been looking at actions. So I have looked at Lawton, Bat Machine, Stiller and others. They all offer similar specs and options. The tighter tolerances the faster locking time, beefier components, better extractors. All the good stuff, but...
So with a 26 inch barrel what twist would a guy want to go with? I am going to get my action tomorrow so I need to order my barrel.
I was going to used a tured Remington 700 action but it seem about 50/50 on what people think. I talked to a guy from Bijoucreek and he has been building...
