Worst thing you have purchased for reloading

The item that stands out is a case luber from Herters when I was new, you were supposed to be able to pass a case thru a lubed felt hole to to lube the case, maybe it was because i was 16 or so, but i could never get a case lubed right with it. BTW it's still in a drawer.

    ATV advice

For my 2 bits worth, I have a 94 AC 400cc (Yamaha engine) 4wheel dr and it does everything i have needed and the AC is really solidly built especially the racks, I've pulled atv trailers with good sized elk and stayed in High range. We hunt hunt in Montana and the ranchers we know over the...

    Acceptable Powder Charge variance

I don't have anything to add to what has been said in previous posts, but what I didn't see and maybe with newer electronic scales this isn't an issue. I have an RCBS Micro Pro scale and through experience have found that the scale reading drifts anywhere from 2 to 4 tenths over time. I reload...

    Reloading Die Brand?

In my previous reply i ended stating RCBS wasn't leading with inovation, but that was probably sour grapes. I have the Case Master Gauging Tool and am disappointed, I think the station is doing to many functions and with many devices when you try and do that it ends up not doing any very good.

    Powder??

i started buying reloading componets to ensure i could keep shooting for an extended period just prior the 2008 election as it got pretty clear we weren't going to win. I have accomplished that, and I just picked up two pounds of IMR 4350 @ $32 locally so its still available ya just have to be...

    Powder??

just read on the net that Feinstein's Bill won't make it to the floor or maybe even the universal background ck, so maybe news like this will loosen up the supplies as shooters stop hording. Supplies are tight here also, but one notable store here is apparently pretty tight with suppliers so...

    Reloading Die Brand?

I got started W/Rock Chuck Bullet Swag when i was a teen when i live north of Redding Ca., then after about 5 moves in the Forest Service i ended up in Oroville with the RCBS factory and Huntington's store next to each other. Their Customer service is great and they will handle any issue as a...
