Where are you hunting Ibex? The one I shot was well over 300 lbs.

Long distance runners use them and they are great, but if you get shin splits hiking I would go see a sports medicine doctor. It could be something that needs to be stretched, strengthed or corrected.

Good ideas... I dont think the scope has a parallax adjustment but that is a good thing for us to keep in mind. He moved back to 200 yards (target stayed) and I dont know if he was in the exact same position both time. I will find out. I know that the mirage effect is pretty extreme right now...

Thanks, that confirms what I was finding also. According to the chrono from the gun maker (shooting this load from this rifle) it cranks out of the muzzle at ~3100fps. Thanks! Kevin
