100% spot on brother. SWFA is the only brand I use. 6x for killing, 10x for fun. I don’t think people know how ruggedly tough these scopes are. I usually pack a Kimber Montana but Teekers aren’t bad either 👍
No budget, I only used SWFA cause of their toughness. Where I hunt my gear takes an absolute beating. Definitely ready to upgrade. Thankyou all for the killer suggestions
I have been using SWFA fixed 6 and 10’s because they are so tough and they track flawlessly. They are on the heavier side though. Great suggestions I will look into them. Cheers
Got my hands on a Kimber Montana .308 & a Howa Alpine Mountain rifle in .7mm-08, looking to keep things as light as possible for the type of backpack hunting I do for blacktails and Black Bears. Leaning toward Leupold to save weight but Open to suggestions. Thanks in advance guys.
I usually shoot a .308, .243 or .7mm-08 for blacktails and black bears. First time trying out the 6.5CM and I can’t complain. Wow amazing weather it has barley broke 50 degrees here so far. When it’s not raining here, it’s paradise for fishin and hunting. I hope to make it Texas one day to do...
Captain Peanut! I’m glad you got to come up, see where we are from and hunt blacktails. My dad said you guys had a great time!. Next time I will join you guys for sure. Cheers brother. Happy hunting.
Thankyou very much brother. He will be mounted with velvet on! Not many people understand how rare it is for a Sitka blacktail to get this size. Don’t think I’ll ever top this one. Cheers. Happy hunting! And this was taken in SE Alaska no brown bears
